Estimated brute-force time
—
What this checker likes
- At least 12–16 characters.
- Uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
- Unpredictable words or passphrases.
Things to avoid
- Very short passwords.
- Names of people you know, pets, places, or usernames.
- Important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, or memorable years.
- Numbers going in order, like 123456, or keyboard patterns like qwerty.
⚠️ Brute-force time is only an estimate. Real-world cracking depends on the attacker, leaked password databases,
hashing method, rate limits, and whether your password appears in a dictionary. A long unique passphrase is usually better than a short complex-looking password.
