Estimated brute-force time

What this checker likes

  • At least 12–16 characters.
  • Uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
  • Unpredictable words or passphrases.

Things to avoid

  • Very short passwords.
  • Names of people you know, pets, places, or usernames.
  • Important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, or memorable years.
  • Numbers going in order, like 123456, or keyboard patterns like qwerty.
⚠️ Brute-force time is only an estimate. Real-world cracking depends on the attacker, leaked password databases, hashing method, rate limits, and whether your password appears in a dictionary. A long unique passphrase is usually better than a short complex-looking password.
